If my child chose in person class and then COVID-19 numbers in our area rose, could she transition to virtual?
Yes, your child may transition to virtual learning until restrictions are lifted and it is safe to attend indoor classes again.
Is there sufficient ventilation and air movement in the building?
Yes, we have installed UV air sanitizers into our existing air systems.
Is it possible to hold outside class again until the weather turns too cold?
At this time, we will not be offering outdoor class beginning in September and are very confident that we can hold indoor classes safely.
What if you register for in person classes and then in person classes are cancelled and changed to virtual classes? Will you be allowed to cancel the class?
We are very optimistic that we will not have to shut our doors again, but in the terrible event that we do, we ask that any class cancellations be made prior to January 15th.
Will we have full disclosure if there are any positive cases among staff or students, even if it’s in a different class?
There will be full and immediate disclosure to parents if we become aware that any staff or student has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Necessary protocols will then be taken to move all classes to a virtual platform where SLTD teachers will instruct from the theatre to your children online at home.
